RegistryWiz ("we," "us") is operated by RegistryWiz.com LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and login details.
- Profile and preference information you choose to share: clothing and shoe sizes, colors, favorite places and restaurants, interests, budget, things to avoid, special dates, and wishlist items and links.
- Conversations with Regi: messages you or visitors to your shared page send to Regi, our AI assistant.
- Basic usage and device information, such as pages visited and app errors, used to keep the service working.
How we use your information
- To create and display your profile, wishlists, and shared pages.
- To power Regi, which uses your answers to suggest gifts and answer questions from people shopping for you.
- To provide support, keep the service secure, and improve RegistryWiz.
AI processing
Regi is powered by third-party AI providers. When you or a visitor chat with Regi, the relevant messages and profile details are sent to these providers to generate a response. They process this data only to provide the service to us.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
- Your shared pages: information you place on a wishlist or shared profile is visible to anyone who has the link, unless you protect it with a passcode or invite-only access. Visitors can ask Regi questions about your shared profile.
- Service providers: we use providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email, and AI. They may process your data only on our behalf.
- Legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by emailing regi@registrywiz.com. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, preferences, wishlists, events, and Regi conversations, except where we must keep limited records by law.
Children
RegistryWiz is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and notify you in the app or by email.
